Vaporesso - NEW Gen On The Block
When it comes to mods, there are always new and improved versions coming out. This can make it hard to keep up with the latest and greatest, especially if you're still using an older mod. In this article, we'll be comparing the original Vaporesso Gen kit to the new and improved Gen 200 version that hits the market early April 2022.
The Gen series from Vaporesso have been a very popular line over the years due to their light weight construction and the efficient AXON chip set. They all came with great features. It has a 0.91" OLED display, 0.03-0.5 resistance range making it a great device for building low resistance coils on.
This device came in 12 different colours and a couple of different gradients so there is a colour and style for everyone.
GEN 200
The first thing you'll notice about the new Vaporesso Gen is that it's much sleeker and more stylish than the old one. It's also been designed with ergonomics in mind, so it fits comfortably in your hand. The Gen 200 is taller and slimmer in comparison.
The new and improved version will be released with an initial 6 colour but there will be some more exciting colours and gradients coming in the future. The Gen 200 kit comes with the brand new iTank which supports the new GTI series coils. These coils are a vast improvement on the SKRR-S coils which came with the last Gen kit.
In terms of performance, the new Vaporesso Gen is a big step up. It has a much higher wattage output and can fire coils down to 0.05 ohms. This makes it ideal for sub-ohm vaping and gives you the flexibility to experiment with different coil types and builds. Both of the mods use the same 510 threaded connection so you can use any of your favourite tanks and RDA's on top.
The new mod also has a host of other features that will suit most vapers. These include a host of different power modes which helps users dial in the power to their liking. It boasts a bright OLED display, a much sleeker and more modern look. Overall, the new Vaporesso Gen is a big improvement over the old one and is well worth upgrading to if you're still using an older mod.
